Brew News: November Edition

Here we are again, back to the beginning of another month. Funny though, day 31 to 1 sure doesn’t seem like a reset; day number 307 on the year sounds much more like it. As we head further into the fall, we’re set to continue our awesome series of 22-ounce bomber beer releases. Hopefully you already got a few bombers of Rage and Barrel-Aged Dystopia (if not, excuse me, but, what the hell are you waiting for?)–there are also more awesome bombers coming down the pike, starting with Barrel-Aged Cabra Perdida around Thanksgiving and Delusion right before Christmas. These babies will make great gifts or additions to your own beer cellar.

Speaking of gifts… we’re working on creating some awesome Greenbush gift baskets for the holiday season. There will be four different packages available at different prices, ranging from $25 to $100, customizable to your liking. We hope to have them first available for purchase before Thanksgiving. We’ll definitely post about them on Facebook when ready to go!

Last thing before we get into the specific happenings of the month, we’re already getting close to the release of our Winter seasonals. Some of them are even fermenting already. Get ready for Jadis (Winter White Ale), Apathy (Oatmeal Stout), Mammoth (Weizenbock) and Ursus (Winter Olde Ale) to start hitting the taps right before Thanksgiving. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to have these great beers back on the board at Greenbush (and in distribution to the rest of our network!).

Great news, we’re hosting our first Brew & View! November 13 at 8 p.m., we’ll turn down the lights, pop some corn (potentially) and start the show. We will kick it all off with Spaceballs–an absolute classic, if you ask any of us.

Thursday, November 15: Brewer’s Table Dinner at Greenbush Brewing Co.

Wednesday, November 21: Greenbush open late for Thanksgiving Eve

We’re planning to stay open until 11 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21 to welcome everyone who’s coming home for Thanksgiving. It’s going to be a great week at Greenbush, so we hope to see you all here!

Thursday, November 22: Happy Thanksgiving! Greenbush is CLOSED.

Wednesday, November 28: Beer Dinner with Solemn Oath at Old Town Social in Chicago, IL

Another awesome collaboration beer dinner is coming your way toward the end of the month. If you don’t know Old Town Social, you should know that one of their specialties is incredible house-made charcuterie. That alone makes this beer dinner a match made in heaven between the participating breweries. We’ll be sure to give you more details on the dinner as we get them.

Thursday, November 29: Beer Dinner at Bistro on the Boulevard in St. Joseph, MI

Our last beer dinner of the month is right in our backyard! We’re heading to St. Joe for the next in the Bistro’s monthly series of beer and wine dinners. This one will feature four beers paired with four courses. Details on tickets are forthcoming, but expect the dinner to begin at 7 p.m.

That’s everything for this month (that we know of now!). Lots of happenings are coming up in December too, including the beer dinner at Hopleaf and our much, much, much anticipated 2nd annual Feliz Mazel Tov holiday party at Greenbush. That’s slated for December 8 and will be a ticketed event–many more details to come on that.
