Greetings and welcome to August! We’ve been nothing shy of busy, busy, busy between the general craziness of our taproom this time of year, Summer Beer Fest and trying to get all our of ducks in a row to get our To-Go Store and Beer Garden up and functional for all of you. If you’ve been in the taproom recently you’ve likely noticed our fruit beers are starting to take over a few taps here and there, and don’t you worry– there are more to come including a limited bottle release of our Raspberry Ale, One and the Same! With all that being said, here’s what else we’ve got going in August:

Friday, August 1: Tasting at the Wine Seller in Ann Arbor, MI

What better way to kick off August AND Ypsi-Arbor Craft Beer Week than a free tasting? Yeah, there isn’t a better way so get to the Wine Seller TODAY to sample our usuals and a taproom specialty from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, August 2: Brew Haven in New Haven, IN

We don’t get to make it to this area as much in comparison to other places so we’re super excited about this event! We’ll be pouring Sunspot, Broken Promises, 1825 and Anger. VIP begins at 1 p.m. and general admission at 2 p.m. Fest goes until 6 p.m. and there will be more than 300 beers to sample from over 55 breweries! See ya in New Haven!

Saturday, August 2: Highwood Craft Beer Fest in Highwood, IL

Live music, plenty of beer and food from some of Highwood’s favorite restaurants will be showcased at Events Park from noon to 5 p.m. CST. A couple of our beers will be on tap among many other great craft beers from the following breweries: 4 Hands, Ale Asylum, Ale Sindicate, Anderson Valley, Bells, Begyle, Berghoff, Big Shoulders, Brooklyn Brewery, Deschutes, Finch’s, Goose Island, Lagunitas, Lake Bluff, Lake Effect, Mickey Finns, New Belgium, Only Child, Oskar Blues, Revolution, Rogue, Smylie, Stone, Temperance, Ten, Ninety, Tighthead, Transient Artisanales, Two Brother and Wyders Cider.

Tuesday, August 5: Fruit Beer Event at Bill’s Beer Garden in Ann Arbor, MI

It’s a Greenbush fruit beer party at Bill’s Beer Garden in Ann Arbor! They’ll be offering Emptiness (Apricot Wheat), Unvarnished Truth (our new Cherry Porter), B.A. Birds Sing a Pretty Song (Barrel Aged Blackberry Porter) and one more mystery fruit beer of ours! Come join in on the Ypsi-Arbor Craft Beer Week fun and get your fruit beer on!

Tuesday, August 5: Vanderbush on tap at World of Beer in Ann Arbor, MI

If you haven’t tried Vanderbush and you live in the Ann Arbor area now is your chance! This 10.2% American Trippel with 30% raw Vander Mill Cider is seriously delicious. Pop into World of Beer and see for yourself.

Thursday, August 7: HUGE Tap Takeover at 7 Monks Taproom in Traverse City, MI

7 Monks said it best– “It has been a while since we have done an event with Greenbush so we are overcompensating with 32 beers.” They’re not messing around. Not to mention they are one of the greatest craft beer bars in the country. In other words? Worth. The. Trip. They’ll be tapping the beers at noon and event will go until midnight. Monday, August 18: Beer Dinner at Kalamazoo Beer Exchange in Kalamazoo, MI

Beer dinners are awesome, but tend to be a little on the pricey side. Not the case here! For just $40 (tax and gratuity included!!!) you can get yourself a 5 course meal, each course paired with a different Greenbush brew. I’m gonna go ahead and call this the deal of the summer. Call (269) 532-1188 to reserve your spot today! But really, right now, DO IT! Beer dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday, August 22 and 23: Microbrew and Music Festival in Traverse City, MI

If you’re looking for an excuse to visit Traverse City, look no further! This two day fest is packed full of yummy beers, delicious food, live music and a silent disco. Single day tickets available and Friday/Saturday combo tickets as well. Get em’ here!

Saturday, August 23: Party on the Pavers in Baroda, MI

It’s a block party on First Street in Baroda from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be beer, food, wine, live music, fresh produce and flower stands. Admission is free, but beer will cost ya!

Thursday, August 28: Tap Takeover at Table & Tap in Flint, MI

I know how much we love and value good BBQ and craft beer. If you share these values you’ll totally dig this place. We will be taking over 15 taps there. Come grab a beer and some food!

Friday, August 29: Tasting at Fairway Sav-Mor Drugs in Eastpointe, MI

We kicked off August with a free beer tasting so why not end on the same note? Swing by Fairway Sav-Mor Drugs to taste some GB beer and grab some to go for your weekend drinking needs!
